"Most vendors set up their Stripe integration to just accept credit cards however, Stripe offers the ability to accept payments by way of debiting people's checking accounts through ACH (Automated Clearing House). It is a type of bank transfer. ACH payment fees are a whole lot lower than credit card processing fees AND there is a cap on the fee. Currently Stripe shows on their pricing page that for domestic transfers it costs 0.8% capped at $5. It has the potential to help businesses increase their profit margin quite a bit. You also don't have to worry about cards expiring with ACH. I have seen only a handful of vendors incorporate ACH. Now when it comes to payment processes for donations and specifically churches I see it a lot more."
