Enable image cropping in Canva / Searchie integration
Currently the Canva feature opens a canvas size of 2560 x 1440. It would be amazing if we could crop the image directly in the integration. Currently, If I want a short image - say a row of icons, I have to create it directly in Canva (or another image editor) and upload it manually, rather than use the integration due to the set canvas size. Image attached shows example. Thanks for considering!
Searchie API: Add File to include field for Thumbnail URL
Some folks like myself use apps like Placid to auto-generate branded thumbnails for new videos automatically. If Searchie's "Add File" API action had a field for a URL for the thumbnail image, this process could be effortless! At the moment, we need to manually go to each video in Searchie after they've been uploaded and processed, and change each thumbnail one by one. I have 272 to do today!
Independent Extension Login
Because I build hubs for clients as a service provider, I would like to be able to record my process of building THEIR HUB with MY account. Currently, when I use th extension to record the hub-build, it saves to the client's media library rather than to mine. So I need to be able to be logged into MY Searchie account with the extension, while being logged into my client's account as I build their hub.
Adjust Screen Capture Window
When using Searchie extension, it would be helpful to be able to manually adjust the window being recorded. (So not the whole desktop or a particular program but a box I can adjust. Keeping the menu bar out of videos helps minimize visual clutter. I can also stack multiple windows beneath and pull up what I need.)
I would like the ability to record my videos as time lapses, or a very sped up video of a several hours long process. Use Case for me: I want to be able to create an entire website and record the entire process, but have it sped up or time lapsed in order to either share it with the website client OR to be able to use it in training videos/courses.
Share Screen Recording Via Email
After using the extension to screen record, it'd be great to have a share button so we can send the recording directly to someone's inbox. Even more so, I'd love for the send feature to be synced to my Gmail so I could just type in the person's name and their email pop up. Thanks!
Desktop App Version
You guys need a real desktop app like Loom or CloudApp or myriad others. It's really laggy, buggy and feature-limited being a browser extension only. Especially the camera as it frequently doesn't work or flickers on or off. But also the inability to record a section of the screen only.
Alternate Download Formats
My Searchie extension recordings often fail to actually upload to Searchie. This means I have to download the file and upload it manually to my Searchie library. Currently, webm is the only download format available. While Searchie fortunately recognizes this format, sadly many other platforms do not. Another option or two for mp4 or mov would make these files more versatile.
The extension controls can interfere with elements on the screen. Would be ideal if you could move the extension controls to another area of the screen.
